PRODUCTION HISTORY
Noble’s collaboration with Justin Butcher began in 2021 during preparations for ‘Speaking Dante’ a live, 24 hour, staged reading of the entire ‘Divine Comedy’ with a cast that included Helen Mirren and Ralph Fiennes. Butcher and Noble prepared an ‘up on its feet’ performance of ‘Body 115’ at the Old Operating Theatre, London in early 2022. After ‘workshop’ performances in Paris and London composer Jack Arnold and lighting designer Tom Turner joined the team for a full production run at The Hope Theatre, Islington which opened the 2023 summer season. It has played twice at the Théâtre de Nesle, Paris and was included in the 21st edition of the Festival Internazionale Teatro Romano, Volterra. After rave reviews at the Hope Theatre it returned to further acclaim as part of the 2023 Camden Fringe. It has since played for a week at the Brockley Jack and will be touring throughout the UK in 2025.
